I have been to the dark side and can report that they do in fact have cookies.

Hmmm I thought that the Cherokee had a relief system, so water ballast is
covered :D

yea eventually i'll get to that point, figured i ought to learn how to fly it dry first.
the only problem with the water system on the Cherokee is there is no in flight dumping option...8

Hey its just wood... I've got a Makita, we can "fix" it! ;-)

I have a modified BG-12 in the driveway (Neidrauer NG-1) so I can fly with flaps whenever I want to. I love the 5:1 glide with full flaps on approach. Exhilarating! I need to saw its wingtips down so that it is 15 meters instead of 50 feet though...
